About us

The primary purposes of the Bennett Valley Community Association (BVCA) are:

• To promote and preserve the rural residential character and natural environment of Bennett Valley, as outlined in the Bennett Valley Area Plan (BVAP)

• To serve as an open forum for Bennett Valley community participation; and

• To provide a bridge for communication between government agencies and the Bennett Valley community.

Here's how we do it:

• Be Heard: 

◦ The county listens when the BVCA, a 50+ year organization, speaks.

• Communicate

◦ We publish a regular newsletter to keep you informed. It's free. Subscribe here.

• Participate

◦ We track and attend all sorts of local meetings, take notes, speak up, and share to you.

• Connect

◦ We host and regularly invite government, corporate, and community leaders to public town halls

◦ We host in person events and town halls

◦ Annual picnics

• Impact

◦ We can fundraise as a 501-3c nonprofit organization.
